Brian Jarvis for Beavercreek City Council

I’ve seen many changes in this community over the decades, and in the recent years that I’ve lived
here, I’ve taken a greater interest in the changes Beavercreek has gone through and will be going
through in the future. I've been on City Council for most of 2009 and I've really enjoyed every
minute of it. I’m looking forward to continue to represent you on Council. Let me give you a little
background.
In February 2009, I was selected from a field of 14 people to complete the unexpired term of
Jarrod Martin who had to vacate his seat on the City Council when he was elected to the state
legislature representing Beavercreek. The remaining City Council members gave me an overwhelming
vote of confidence by selecting me to the City Council.
Since then, I have worked hard for you, attended public meetings and working sessions, attended
special events, met many of you, listened to you, and made decisions that I believe are in the best
interests of the community. I want to continue to be directly and actively involved in the positive
changes that will be occurring which will help our community become better and economically stronger.
I want to be at the forefront, leading the way as we continue to move our city in a positive direction
-- making this a better city to live, work, and play, than it already is.
Basically, I'm running to retain my seat on City Council because I believe that with the experience
I've already gained, I can continue to bring better communication between the City Council and the
citizens of Beavercreek. With fresh ideas, I know that I can help the City overcome some of the
challenges it has seen brought on by growth and new development. Additionally, I want to make sure
that residents feel they have a voice on council.
